A deadly 8.8-magnitude earthquake struck central Chile on early Saturday, 27th Feb, 2010. Concepcion, Chile’s second-largest metropolitan area, is roughly 70miles from the quake’s center. Santiago, capital of Chile, is about 500km from the center of earthquake.
